Registration for MIDL 2023 is now closed.
The conference is hosted at Vanderbilt University, in the VU Student Life Center. Gala and reception venue are also detailed on the venue page. A more detailed program of the conference will be made available in the future.
Alongside the main MIDL conference, Vanderbilt will also host a Doctoral Symposium on July 9th. For details, please visit the symposium page.
Fees
The registration can include accommodation at Vanderbilt University itself for the duration of the conference. It can be extended before and after the conference dates, to facilitate travel to and from Nashville.

Housing
Vanderbilt Accommodations
E. Bronson Ingram is a residence hall at Vanderbilt University. All bedrooms include a twin bed, a dresser, closet, desk, and desk chair. All rooms are clean, furnished and air conditioned.
The MIDL guests will receive linens, a hospital blanket, a pillow, a pillowcase and two towels. Please note that all rooms have twin beds with bathrooms down the hall. The rooms have furniture, but nothing else. Guests will need shower shoes, a bathrobe, toiletries, hairdryer, a clock, perhaps a reading lamp. There are no TV’s, radios, coffee makers, micro-fridge, or hangers in the rooms. The Vanderbilt Bookstore is close as is the DG (Dollar General Store) on the corner of 21st Ave. and West End Ave.
There will be an Allied Universal Office will be posted the EBI front lobby 24/7 to help our guests. After 22:00 the Allied universal Officers will be checking photo ID’s to get into the building. We also have staff on duty 24/7 if guests get locked out or loses their key and building access card.
We offer the possibility to book additional nights, before and after MIDL 2023.
